Original Description
Frailea perumbilicata Ritter spec. nova var. perumbilicata Ritter var. nov. globosa, solitaria, 2-3 cm diam., vertice valde profundo; costae 16-19, dissolutae, fere plene applanatae; areolae brunneolae, 0,7 mm longae, 2-3 mm inter se distantes; spinae brunneae, aciculares, distortae, aliquid patentes; marginales 6-10 mm, 2-3 mm longae; centrales plerumque absentes, interdum 1; flores 34-40 mm longi; ovarium lana alba, saetis atrorubris et squamis mi-nutis rubris obtectum; tubus floralis basi viridi, superne flavus, 7 mm longus, obtectus ut ovarium; filamenta clare flava, inferna 12 mm longa, superna 6 mm; antherae aureae; insertiones filamentorum instructi ad 2 mm infra oram tubi; stylus flavus, 2 mm infima styli coalita cum tubo; petala sulfurea, oblanceolata, 18 mm longa, 4 mm lata; semen brunneum, leve, nitidum, 2 mm longum,2,5 mm latum. Habitat: inter Livramento et Passo da Garda, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Nr. FR 1385.
